Edward Gorey is best known by the masses as the artist behind the animated introduction to television anthology Masterpiece Mystery. Much of the art of Edward Gorey gives the impression of hidden riddles. So much so, that a great many Gorey fans have searched his art for hidden messages. Alas, there aren’t any riddles, only a masterful impression of mystery.
